Adam Hubble
Head Coach Adam Hubble is a Tennis Australia qualified Club Professional Coach bringing 30+ years of playing and coaching experience earned across ITF Juniors, Victorian Pennant, Division 1 College at the University of Tennessee, and the ATP Tour.
Coach Adam won 16 Professional titles, held a career high doubles ranking of 146 and singles of 679, and now enjoys improving people of all ages and skill levels to enable them to compete at their full potential on and off the court.
The sport of tennis has seen Adam travel to 30+ countries to either coach or compete at the highest level. Adam is already well known around the club as he has coached at various stages over the last 19 years for Terry Stone.
He has won a total of 7 titles for GPHC, including 5 Premier League titles, 1 State Grade and 1 Grade one title, making him the most successful pennant player in club history.
As our coaches enjoy a good Christmas present, they now all follow the Melbourne football club adamantly.
Miranda Poile
Miranda blends her tennis and business knowledge to partner with Adam to ensure the success of Hubble Tennis. Miranda is passionate about developing junior players into lifelong players and wants to help people find a love for the game as she has.
Miranda received a Bachelor of Communications while playing tennis as a Division 1 athlete in America. She is also close to finishing her Master of Business Administration. Miranda has worked as a Tennis Coach at John Newcombe Tennis Academy, Ivan Lendl Tennis Academy, and Kim Grant Tennis Academy in America. Miranda still loves to train and compete, and you’ll most likely find her practising in her spare time.
Over her 15-year career in tennis, Miranda reached a career-best ITF singles ranking of 1003 and is a 4-time Ladies Singles Club Champion at GPHC. Additionally, she is a graduate of the Tennis Australia Women Leaders in Tennis course.
Rob Ensor
Coach Rob is a Tennis Australia qualified Club Professional Coach bringing 18 years of coaching experience at various clubs and schools with the last 13 years at GPHC. Rob is currently running coaching programs at Camberwell Grammar Boys and Ruyton Girls School. He enjoys coaching all levels, from social players to elite juniors. Rob has also played Tennis Victoria Pennant at GPHC for many years.
Rob’s passions off the court include supporting the Melbourne Football Club, indulging in the odd craft beer, and, most of all, spending time with his two beautiful daughters and wife, Daina.
Clive Wilson
Clive is a qualified professional coach who has over 40 years of experience. He has coached at various clubs in Zimbabwe and South Africa. Most notably at the prestigious Wanderers Tennis Club in a joint role with his brother, Peter. Throughout his coaching career, Clive has mentored players from beginners to ATP level. His coaching mantra is simple yet impactful: "Consistency counts."
Clive's most notable playing achievements are:
- 1984 Singles and doubles winner Botswana Open Championships.
- 1984 Singles and doubles winner Zimbabwe Open Championships.
- 1986-1990 Davis Cup player for Zimbabwe
- South African Nationals winner in the Over 35s, Over 45s, Over 50s in both singles and doubles
- 4 Time Oceania Champion
- 2023 Over 60’s World Champion
- Currently ranked number 1 in the world for Over 60’s
Off the court, his interests and hobbies include building model aircraft, golfing, cycling, and indulging in the world of science fiction movies and films inspired by true events. When it comes to food, Clive can never resist a home roast or a delicious pizza.
Peter Wilson
Peter is a qualified high-performance coach with over 40 years of experience coaching players from beginners to ATP level. Some of his proudest moments have come from mentoring players who went on to compete in the Davis Cup and Federation Cup.
Peter's most notable playing achievements are:
- 1978 Singles Champion of Zimbabwe
- 1980 Singles, Doubles & Mixed Doubles Champion of Zimbabwe
- 1984 Singles & Doubles Champion of Zimbabwe
- South African Nationals singles winner in the Over 35s, Over 40s, Over 45s, Over 50s, Over 55s
- Winner of Oceania Tournament titles in singles and doubles.
Peter is committed to unlocking the potential within each player to make them the best they can be, shaping not just their skills on the court but their character off it.
His interests and hobbies include golf, off-road cycling, watching action movies, and being a self-confessed chocoholic.
Wes Neylon
Coach Wes has over 8 years of experience coaching private lessons, group coaching and holiday clinics with both adults and children at various clubs around Melbourne. Wes has been competing in national and international tournaments since the age of 10, with a career-high ranking of 190 in Australia.
He represents GPHC in Tennis Victoria Grade 1 Pennant and is a former GPHC Singles Club Champion in 2021 and Doubles Club Champion in 2022.
His other tennis accomplishments include Dendy Park TC Singles Club Champion and Grade 1 Pennant player at Royal South Yarra LTC in 2018, 2019, 2020.
Wes is studying his Doctor of Physiotherapy course at the University of Melbourne, after completing his Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise & Sport Science) with distinction. He hopes to specialise in sports physiotherapy and work closely with athletes. In his spare time, other than tennis, Wes loves to cook. He makes a mean wagyu on the grill, but his true flex dish is a slow-cooked Greek lamb with all the trimmings.
Louis Taylor
Coach Louis joined the coaching team in 2022 and has been a GPHC club player for over 10 years, coming through the junior coaching program to now representing GPHC in Tennis Victoria Pennant whilst coaching the next generation of juniors.
In his sessions, he enjoys teaching his students about the game of doubles. Louis thought this was most influential when he transitioned from juniors to adult competitions.
Coach Louis says “I’m proud to be a coach at Hubble Tennis as my colleagues have expansive tennis coaching knowledge and I really notice a passionate and energetic working culture each time I’m on court.”
Louis is currently completing a Bachelor of Cybersecurity at Swinburne University and enjoys eating out with friends. He also loves playing tennis with fellow GPHC members.
Marcus Nield
Coach Marcus started playing tennis at the age of 6. He has been coaching tennis for the past 2 years. Marcus was ranked top 5 in the nation in 16’s and represented Victoria in the Bruce Cup and December showdown.
Marcus has also played Tennis Victoria Pennant for GPHC for 8 years, including winning grade 4, and his favourite shot is his backhand. He is looking to build on this in his adult playing career. His favourite part of coaching is seeing the kids having fun and progressing with their tennis. In his spare time he enjoys playing tennis and soccer. His favourite cuisine is Thai and his favourite travel destination is Singapore.
Jordan Lemke
Coach Jordan has been a tennis coach at Grace Park for over 6 months. His favourite part of coaching is seeing kids having fun with their tennis while also improving along the way.
When he’s not coaching, he spends his time playing soccer and tennis, both of which he has played since the age of 4.
Jordan also works as a personal trainer and his favourite travel destination he has been to is Switzerland.
Harriet Stewart
Coach Harriet has 12 years of playing and coaching experience. Harriet has played at the elite level as a junior and has represented Victoria in National teams events.
Tennis has been a big part of Harriet's life and has seen her travel to New Zealand and Spain to compete in tournaments.
Harriet has always loved teaching and subsequently enjoys coaching, as she is able to communicate with younger kids on how to be better athletes as well as people.
While Harriet enjoys playing and coaching tennis, she is also currently studying Agriculture at Melbourne University.
Harriet's favourite holiday destination is Thailand, where she enjoys scuba diving, snorkelling, swimming with sharks and cliff jumping.
Her favourite place on earth is a small town in the South Island of New Zealand named Te Anau, where her Nanny and Grandad are from.
Brayden Daly
Coach Brayden is 25 years old and was born and raised in Melbourne. He has been coaching full time for 7 years and has recently joined Hubble Tennis after coaching at Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club and Melbourne Park.
Coach Brayden really enjoys the social aspect of coaching and getting to know new people and different types of playing styles.
Coach Brayden loves coaching tennis because every player has a unique game style and it is a sport you can play forever.
Coach Brayden has coached at numerous levels with experience at the professional level, young children and adults wanting to get back into the sport.
Away from tennis, Coach Brayden enjoys waking up early and going to the gym.
Harry McCorkell
Coach Harry has 13 years of playing experience and has played Victorian Pennant, Tennis Australia Tournaments and School Tennis. He was a member of the 2021 Scotch College APS tennis premiership team and played in the Open Firsts team for 4 seasons. He has continued his APS tennis involvement through school coaching at Scotch in 2024.
Coach Harry’s favourite shot is his backhand return, which he loves to use particularly in doubles. His favourite part of coaching is not only seeing kids having fun and improving their skills, but witnessing their rising passion for the sport.
In addition to coaching at Hubble Tennis, Coach Harry is currently studying a double degree in Bio-Medicine and Law at Monash University.
When he’s not on court, Harry loves to take his French Bulldog to the park and he loves going to the beach with friends. His favourite holiday destination is Burleigh Heads and his dream is to travel to Mallorca to visit Rafa’s Tennis Academy.
